Main Process of Rice Bran Pretreatment System:

The extrusion puffing, on the one hand, can make solution lipase in the rice bran passivated under high temperature and high pressure condition,then prevent the rice bran oil rancidity; On the other hand, the extrusion puffing can make rice bran be porous mateial grain, and increases the materials bulk density, then improve the permeability and leaching rate which solvent reacts to the material.
The puffed rice bran contains about 12% water, and the LD moisture for leaching process is 7-9%, therefore, there must be effective drying means to achieve the LD leaching moisture. Adopting counter-current LD can make water and temperature meet with follow-up process requirements, and improve the oil yield, as well as oil quality.
About Solvent Extraction:
Solvent extraction is a process to extract seed oil from oil materials by means of solvent, and the typical solvent is hexane.
The vegetable oil extraction plant is part of vegetable oil processing plant, which is designed to extract oil directly from oilseeds, who contains less than 20% oil, for example the flaked or expanded soybean. Or it extracts oil from pre-pressed cake, such as sunflower seed cake, peanuts, cotton seed and a variety of other materials.
Main Process Of Solvent Extraction:
About Extraction system:
The extruded rice bran gets into the extractor through feeding scraper, the materials run a circle from the feed inlet to discharge outlet in the extractor. Spraying the extruded rice bran with the concentrate diminishing miscella between the feed inlet to discharge outlet. Then before getting into the drain off section, spraying again with fresh solvent, the drained wet meal discharges into the wet meal scraper from the extractorâs discharge grid through kick-out device. The concentrated miscella gets into the two-stage hydrocyclone from the pump, to remove the powder impurities, finally get into the miscella tank.
The solvent contain wet meal that from the extractor are sent to the DTDC desolventizerâs pre-desolventizing layer by scraper through air locker, the bottom is heated by indirect steam to remove part of solvent; then the pre-desolventized wet meal get into the desolventizing layer, there are automatic control on the desolventizing layer to keep certain thickness of materials, then the bottom gets into the direct steam to remove all the solvent, at same time some steam condense in the meal, the moisture content of meal will sectional rise.
The desolventized meal falls onto the drying layer quantitative through rotary valve, the drying layer keeps certain materials level, then process the drying procedure, after drying get into the cooling layer to lower down the temperature, finally discharge the finished meal through automatic flow controlling gate, then though the scraper to transport the meal to warehouse.
The mixed vapor of solvent and steam that get out from the top of desolventizer through solvent catcher, get into the shell side of first long tube evaporator as the heating medium of first desolventizing miscella.
The miscella is sent to the first long tube evaporatorâs tube pass from the miscella tank through first evaporation feeding pump, the mixed vapor of desolventizer is the heating medium for first evaporation. The evaporated solvent gets into the evaporating condenser from the separation room, there are level control device on the separation roomâs outlet conduit to keep the liquid seal, the first evaporator keeps certain residue pressure by low vacuum injection pump, which can make the solvent thant in the first evaporation oil evaporates under the negative pressure, this can lower down the solvent boiling point to improve the working steam use ratio.
Solvent Condensation System:
The liquor condensate that from evaporation condenser, enerLD saver condenser and steam stripping condenser is collected together then through recovery pump to inject them into water segregator. The end condensed steam enter into the enerLD saver condenser, the enerLD saverâs liquor condensate and first evaporation shell passâs liquor condensate get into the water segregator directly. The free gas of enerLD saver condenser,tripping condenser, water segregator and solvent library together enter into the final condenser, the end steam from final condenser is absorbed by paraffin recovery device.
The solvent phase of water segregator flows into solvent library for partial recycling, the water phase discharged into steam tank, the direct steam gets into the steam tank from the bottom to evaporate residue solvent, after this the water phase discharged into water seal tank.
