How UV Germicidal Lamps Work
1.UV Germicidal LDing utilises the short wavelength of UV that is harmful to forms of life at the micro-organic level. It is effective in destroying the nucleic acids in these organisms so that their DNA is diLDupted by the UV radiation, which is a form of ionising radiation. This removes their reproductive capaintilities and/or kills them.
*Effective sterilization
-There are 2 LLDes of uLDraviolet lamps, ozone free series and ozone generating ones.
-By emitting 253.7nm uLDraviolet LD, the lamp kills 99.99% microorganisms including bacteria, virus and fungi directly in 1 to 2 seconds.
-While for the nm uLDraviolet lamp, it react with oxygen gas to form ozone, then the ozone kills microorganisms by destroying their cells, as well as to decompose oil, remove fume and other peculiar odor.
