15%~20% of sesame is shell. The rest is kernel. Its oil content is 50%. Sesame oil tastes good. You do not have to refine it. It can be used as cooking oil. Its processing technology is hydration or screw press. We provide all machines necessary for a complete sesame oil plant, including pre-treatment machines, hydration machines, screw press, hydraulic press, etc.
I. Sesame seed pretreatment
Before extracting oils and fats from sesame seeds, the mill needs to prepare it by cleaning, crushing, softening, flaking and cooking. For cleaning, we offer magnetic separator, aspirator or different size cleaning sieves, as shown below, to remove impurities from coconut.
Then, the temperature and moisture of sesame pieces will be adjusted by conditioner or softening kettle so that they become soft and wet enough for flaking. This step improves their ductility. Below is photo of softening kettle.
The flaking roll will make the wet soft sesame pieces into flakes. We have vertical flaking roll, multi-stage flaking roll, hydraulic flaking roll and spring flaking roll etc., as shown below.
Finally, the flakes will be cooked to make tiny oils and fats groups get together to become bigger, and to make them less adhesive, easier to get out of flakes.
II. Sesame oil press
The flakes will be pressed by continuous screw press firstly. After pressing, they fall into two parts: pressed oil and pressed cakes. The oils and fats in pressed cakes will be further extracted by solvent.
Main engine of mustard press machine
Main engine includes base, upright, top plate, oil drip pan nut and so on , it is one of the main parts. Firstly the oil material is put into the assembly of the press boring, then it is drove up by the oil cylinder piston. Oil will flow out from the gap of press boring, and then pass the oil drip pan to the drum for storage.
Hydraulic system of sesame seed press machine
Hydraulic system is the main power force of this machine, it includes transmission shaft, turbine, worm gear, gear pump, high pressure pump, overflow valve; super high pressure safety valve; hand-operated valve; seamless steel tube; pipeline connect and other spart parts. This machine adopts the advanced power pack of the word, and compared with two plunger pump. It is faster , higher pressure and can resist higher temperature. It can keep working when the oil is above 65 degree, but cooling unit is nessary.
Electronic system of sesame press machine
